Results: Nine Edges Endurance 2007In 2007 there was a wide variety of finishing times; from the fastest runners (men: Mick Stenton, 2 hrs 54 mins; ladies: Raelene Cowie, 4 hrs 10 mins), and runner/climbers (Saul Taylor, 4 hrs 19 mins – yes, this includes a climb on each edge!), to the slowest climbers (who will remain nameless as they are locals!) in 12 hours 36 minutes. 2006 was a little faster, with the fastest runners completing it in still-to-be-beaten record times (men: Lewis Banton, 2 hours 44 minutes; ladies: Nikki Hall and Laura Daniel, 3 hours 47 minutes). The hiker/climbers ranged between 5-11 hours. Who knows what 2008 will bring. Maybe some records will be broken (but hopefully not the slowest time!!!). |
